I am a core energy life coach, who desires to empower you to connect your purpose and passion to your outer goals through a shift in mindset, so you can create an intentional, balanced, and conscious life.
Traditionally, coaching has been associated with sports performance. However, in the 1980’s, Thomas Leonard, an American financial planner, recognized the value of what he called “life planning.” As a result, Leonard began coaching his clients to organize, manage, and achieve their goals in a more productive and fulfilling way.
As a member and graduate of the iPec (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching) community, I have been trained as a core energy life coach.
The Core Energy Coaching Process is a unique and transformational coaching process that focuses on raising awareness and consciousness one person at a time by shifting mindset. This coaching will positively impact your energy, motivation, and overall well-being and performance on a more consistent basis.
Not only will this coaching influence your relationship with yourself, it will also further develop strong communication skills which will result in maintaining and forming healthy, authentic, and sustainable relationships.
Furthermore, coaching will help to create more engagement in your life to reach a stated goal, or task, whether personal or professional creating a shift in proactivity, productivity, and resiliency.
Many clients ask about the difference between coaching and therapy.
In coaching, a client works to develop proactive skills and tools that will help with his/her mental growth to move towards a desired goal or outcome. It focuses on the present and how to achieve the desired future. Coaches partner with clients to support them in achieving their goals by challenging, championing, and holding them accountable. The coach is present to listen, question, and guide the client as since the client is the expert in his/her life. In essence, coaching focuses on performance improvement along with growth and learning: functional to optimal.
On the other hand, in therapy a client seeks relief from psychological or emotional distress often relating to the past to help understand the present. Therapists are trained to help with traumatic events, depression, and anxiety.
Both coaching and therapy entail creating a comfortable, confidential, safe, and non-judgmental environment that will help the client feel heard and validated allowing opportunities for self awareness, personal growth, and emotional healing.
The sum of all of your life’s experiences: your learning, your beliefs, your values, and your principles.
You are beautiful. You are loved. You matter. As your coach, I will partner with you as you work to achieve the best version of yourself to produce the results you desire in your personal and professional life. One of my favorite iPec principles is “The answers to all questions lie within.” I will love to work with you as you “seek” the answers. We will explore the power of optimism, the value of taking time for yourself, and the importance of committing to yourself.
How often do you know what you have to do but cannot motivate yourself to do so? Is it motivation or are you struggling with executive functioning? How would you feel to set an attainable goal and actually reach it?
Executive functioning refers to mental processes that control or regulate our abilities and our behaviors. As your coach, I will partner with you to help you focus, plan, prioritize, work toward your goals, and self-regulate your behaviors and emotions which will help you adapt to new unexpected situations and build skills that will provide more opportunities to find success in your daily life. We will also develop time management skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills to help you find success in your personal and/or professional life.
According to John C. Maxwell, American author, speaker, and pastor “Change is inevitable. Growth is optional.” As your coach, I will help you to see your transition as an opportunity to grow into the person that you are meant to be. Very often, transitions can be very stressful and overwhelming; however, it is important to view these transitions as moments of growth and development, so that you can embrace the change that your life is offering to you!
